A Third Generation Builder
Steven’s grandfather built low rise apartments in Genoa, Italy during the 1960s. His father then took over the business and moved it to Toronto, Canada in the early 70’s and founded a large subdivision building company servicing the GTA and surrounding areas. Steven has spent his entire working career in the house building industry and holds a degree in Architectural Technology. While building custom homes in Toronto for his family in the 1990’s, Steven discovered the joy and challenges one faces during the construction of building a custom homes. He now shares his passion and experience with other clients and enjoys helping them build their dream custom homes in Toronto.
Personally Vested
Steven currently builds four to five custom homes a year in North York, Etobicoke and other parts of Toronto and the GTA. This manageable number of projects allows Steven to take a firsthand approach and have one-on-one involvement in each and every custom home he builds.
“I want to be personally vested in each and every custom home we build” says Steven, “A necessity, I feel, in the custom home building process”.
Environmentally Conscience Design
Steven is an active Tarion member, a certified Energy Star Builder, a member of BILD, Renomark and the Ontario Building Officials Association (OBOA). Understanding the importance of being environmentally conscience, Steven can source eco materials such as Integrated Concrete Forms, Energy efficient fixtures, Drain water heat recovery, geothermal heating/cooling and any other eco-friendly materials that the homeowner requests.
After exhausting our hope to find the builder we like, my wife and I knocked on the door of the newly built house in our neighborhood to find out the builder. The house turns out to be yet another masterpiece of Steven’s. The proud owner gave us Steven’s contact information, and that’s how we knew him.
Our builder selection criteria were very simple. The builder must be honest and informative. The builder must take good care of the house during the construction and after. Above all, the builder must have a good taste. Steven meets all of them. His opinions/advice are always sincere and plain-spoken.
We are very impressed with his sound judgement based on the rich experiences of his own. He is one of the best professionals I’ve ever dealt with.
